With a practice exclusively in family law, Ms. Peterson is an esteemed attorney known for her dedication, passion and relentless drive on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Peterson assists families in attaining prompt and satisfactory resolutions to family law matters, often drawing upon her past experiences in Juvenile Dependency Court and at the Children's Law Center to inform her compassionate and family-centered approaches. She has worked on matters involving asset division, custody, child support, spousal support, enforcement, adoption and guardianship.

As a litigator, Ms. Peterson once participated in a week-long trial of a case with the largest potential support award in the State of California, heard by the Presiding Judge of Family Law Department in the Central District of the Los Angeles Superior Court. She frequently works with partners on many complex, high profile and high net worth cases and has worked with experts including forensic accountants, appraisers and custody evaluators. She appeared as a lead attorney on support fee, custody and discovery motions and also performs trial preparation, drafts discovery and discovery motions, and conducts legal research.
